Christine describes herself in one word—energetic. She thrives on innovation, pushing boundaries, and making a difference. Her passion extends beyond just leading projects—she finds the greatest fulfillment in helping women and men grow into leadership roles. Watching others flourish and become successful under her guidance is her greatest achievement.
A Journey into Healthcare Infrastructure
Christine’s path into healthcare was unexpected yet profoundly impactful. With limited financial support for university, she sought employment that would allow her to study at night. She found an opportunity at an Oncology Hospital, working long hours while commuting and attending classes.
Her dedication paid off when the hospital recognized her potential and funded her education, allowing her to specialize in health administration. Early in her career, she tackled complex projects such as installing MRIs, reconfiguring hospital spaces, and integrating infrastructure with functionality—lessons that would shape her career trajectory.

“I became fascinated with how form needs to follow function in healthcare,” Christine recalls. “I dedicated my career to ensuring infrastructure meets affordability, technical requirements, staff well-being, and, most importantly, the best outcomes for patients.”
Breaking Barriers in Healthcare Construction
Christine faced significant challenges as a woman in the healthcare infrastructure and construction industry. On her first hospital project, she recalls a worksite strike when bricklayers refused to work under a female leader. The situation had to be resolved with negotiations, yet it underscored the deep-seated biases within the industry.
Throughout her career, she has encountered instances where her male colleagues were addressed instead of her—even when she was leading the project. Despite these setbacks, Christine continued to pave the way for women in male-dominated sectors, proving her capabilities through excellence, leadership, and resilience.
